Weed - should it be legal?

Uruguay has just changed its legislation and is now the first country in the wrold to sanction the growing, selling and smoking of marijuana.

They have done it to put the illegal drug trade and drug traffikers out of business.

Personally I think it makes sense. If nicotine is legal than there is very little difference between the 2.

Your thoughts?

Weed - should it be legal?

1.Any drug that is constantly consumed is going to cause physical and/or psychological problems
2.Psychosis? Very rare.I've seen peoples personalities change after a couple of hours in a bar i.e become violent after consuming (legal) alcohol.
3.It is said consuming cannabis affects your short term memory. So what's the problem? Eventually you'll remember everything:-)

P.S.Someone asked if the only way of administering medicinal cannabis was by smoking it.There are vaporisers available in the U.S for those who prefer to look after their lungs.

I added this because the sticking point to allowing hemp for human

consumption is the fact consumed hemp food will corrupt the licky sticks.

The licky sticks do not test positive because the testee is stoned per se they test positive for the same reasons that

mouth wash may produce a positive breathalyser test

Mullaways medical cannabis tincture can be and is manufactured to provide relief without the stone.ie nil THC

(dependant on the desired effect)

Comparing Mullaways tincture to Sativex (big pharmas pot medicine version) is like  comparing a cup of tea and a good lie down to big Pharmas Hillbilly heroin (Oxycontin).... 30 bucks a pill on the street with the supply legally

Weed - should it be legal?

No, it shouldnt be legal........my cousins son took it and now has many mental problems due to it.

Every ones chemical makeup is different and when mixed with weed, can be very detrimental to ones health. Not saying that it affects everyone the same, but alot of people when they take it, affects their mind in the wrong way.
