It looks like an electrical socket for one of those appliance lead flat plugs .
I reckon it's 1950s - electric, enamel, cast iron 2 cast iron sides, 2 sides missing - there appears to be clips for removable sides to be reattached? Found in agricultural region? Farmer's use?
Warmer for infant/baby animal or bird?

I really like the dark haired doll in the blue dress.
Is she a character doll? Do you make them TW?

we both love pottering about and fossicking for old bottles.
The thrill is in the find, after that they just get chucked in a pile under the old tank stand.
Hubbys favourite is the KB beer bottle with lid on the right hand side. I have no idea why he finds it so special. Must be a man thing.
I just LOVE this picture, I could see it happily sitting on my wall. Did you place the bottles Pimpy, or is that how they were plonked, as the composition is near perfect to me, and the colouring beautiful.
And of course one has to wonder.... what was in the bottles

aww thanks Bright.
It was mostly how they were sitting on the tank stand. I did grab a couple of the smaller ones and place there to show a range of bottles. It's a silly place to leave them really as the wind blows them off and I've had a couple break.

Amber, in case no one has said, already, don't touch the squirrels. Just because they live in the city doesn't mean they're not wild animals. If you did get bitten, the least of your worries could be a tetanus shot. I'm not trying to bring you down, I'm just being a worry wart.
Isn't London fantastic?! It's good to read you're enjoying your time there.

I just love that photo too. Your photography is really something special now.

Pimpy, I'll message you soon. Stuck for an idea but I'll think about while I'm cooking the fish.
