Wembley ware dhufish vase. My mum had one. It was a very rare gift from my Dad, he wasn't known for spending money on frivolities.
I bought this one (and 2 others ) for nostalgic reasons. My sister has the original vase.

My Mum never had a Teddy Bear as a child (so the story goes). The big yellow one in the photo my Aunt bought for her when I was a small child. I played with it a lot. Most of the other teddies Mum bought for herself in later years, they are now in my care.

This old trunk took my parents and us kids to and from the UK a couple of times, , the label says Sitmar line which was Fairsky, Fairstar
and Castel Felice, though the trunk originally was my grandfather's. .

Hi, bright.ton,
memories of times past. I came to Australia on the Castel Felice in 1958.
I have lots of old photos, but at the moment they are packed away in a box to be posted to my eldest daughter, to add to the family papers I have given her.
Thanks for the memories.

You're welcome Erica. they were the good old days sailing across the world in an ocean liner stopping at so many exotic places, and all of us carrying hopes for a new future in our hearts, even though we were kids we did too.
