Who should they target first? Or last?

Re: Welfare Reform suggestions

I doubt it

I know that you believe you understand what you think I said, but I'm not sure you realize that what you heard is not what I meant.

* addiction

When someone you love is addicted to a substance that wrecks their brain, wrecks their career, wrecks their relationships with everyone they know, abuses their wife/partner/husband/children, puts them into debt, makes them lose jobs and makes them lose their freakin' mind - then come back us give us all another lecture.

In the meantime learn how to spell and put down your own bottle. You are a classic.

Buzz, do you think that the person you have described above should have my sympathy? Are you in favour of funding such a person?

Yes. I am in favour of funding such a person. They can't help themselves and neither can their family.

'aint no-one else except the public purse going to pay for their bed in the hospice sweetheart 😉

Not even the person who claims to love them?

Plenty of ppl travel to work in Sydney from regional areas like the Blue Mountains, Central Coast, Wollongong, each around 2 hours travel one way.

Wollongong is not 2 hours from Sydney CBD.

 People make their own choice (lifestyle.. by the beach, smaller communities) to live in those areas, no one forces them too.

am, i travelled from wollongong to the cbd for 5 years, every day of the week (peak times) if i was to average it out each trip was probably close to 2 hours if not more - all sorts of reasons and then throw in track work and the replacement buses. Quite a lot of people live in Wollongong because it is a lot cheaper than Sydney, if you are born here and would like to move to Sydney (youth) then you better have a pretty good paying job.

Re: Welfare Reform suggestions

Love doesn't equal money nor the ability to forced an addict to quit an addiction for their own ,yours or the wider communities good.

Re: Welfare Reform suggestions

That is the price of unconditional love, I, personally don't believe in it.

I know that you believe you understand what you think I said, but I'm not sure you realize that what you heard is not what I meant.
