Looking around the house, I have decided I need a bloody good clean out!!!!
I collect books and Star Wars
Hubbs collects cars (of which I am guilty of also)
Daughter collects LOTR weta
And dont get me started on my clothes cupboard.....big cleanout this weekend methinks... time to live simpler

My grandmother buried her silverware in a trench that was dug during the war.
The trench was in a school yard that my Grandfather taught at. As far as I know it's still there. I guess it would be pitted and corroded by now.
She buried it because she didn't like cleaning it!!

PImpy I dont blame her, I got rid of all the silver I had apart from two very heavy Napkin rings put aside for two of the grand childrens 21.
I cant stand the feeling of Silver cleaner or Brasso on my hands, used to clean brass with Lemon and salt.

To clean silver, I just line my sink with aluminium foil shiny side up, place silver on the foil, sprinkle some washing powder over the silver then cover the silver with boiling water, allow to sit for about 5 minutes and presto all clean.

I have a kitchen guy coming in the am................. so I cleaned out the "under the sink" and found 2 jugs I forgot I had.
