yes pimpy..sadly he had the front leg that curves broken..He was wrapped so well every where else and the parcel was absolutley huge but the seller forgot to protect that part of the leg properly..You can see where i have loosley taped the rest of the leg on.I was going to glue it but have decided to get a proper repair done when i find a restorer as i still love it..I did hesitate on getting it sent but i wanted it so much..unfortunatley also the lady who sold it to me had a dog show down in victoria a month later and could have driven it down to me.

Jenni I once sent a huge white Stature Lady Godiva on a horse to WA from QLD, it was a Royal Ducs and I wrapped it so well. the lady had have arm in the air.
Scared the hell out of me posting it knowing Aus post but it arrived in one piece.

I bought a large wembley ware dhufish vase. He didn't have enough packing, and looked liked the box had been dropped. His tail fin is broken. Aust post wouldn't pay up either, the miserable so and so's . It's still in the same box. Hopefully Ill find a restorer one day to stick the pieces back together.

yes it's a worry being both the sender & the receiver of large delicate figurines..Ive been lucky with most of my purchases ..I also smother my items i send in loads of bubble wrap..once i posted an item and the buyer said that a nuclear bomb could have gone off and my parcel would have survived ..

Jenni I had a buyer say he could have kicked mine across the room and it would have been OK haha
I sold a royal Dalton trio once and the lady said please pack well as she had received items from ebay broken.
She received the parcel in one piece but said she was in her garden and the post man throw the parcel over the fence.
OMG it is a wonder any thing arrives in one piece.
