I heard on the radio a few years ago there are about 40 added chemicals(?) in a supermarket vanilla cake (more probably in the other ones).. They must have a ton of preservatives in them as well.

I get allergies, I think most of my allergies are from food apart from Allergy to Penicillin.
I try to look at all ingredient's but would be in the shops for hours if I did this with every thing I buy.

The ingredients lists are usually in very small print too (harder to read), and with lots of ingredients in one product, it would take a long time to check them all out.
I bought something recently that was in purple packaging with black print, was very hard to read... looking to see if it had fish sauce or not in it. (not suitable for vegetarians).

Vegfa
I'm going to say this is supposed to say Vegfat as in vegetable fat. Not sure what vegetable oil this will be but it will be in here to replace butter.
I won't buy products (or try not to) that contain Palm Oil because it is destroying the
Orangutan's habitat. But legally they can call it vegetable oil, so sometimes
it's hard to know

I have been saying over and over that all our food and drinks are full of poison.
When one would test all we eat and drink daily and what accumulation of each chemical are in just one days meals, they may find a lot of causes of different ailments, and could prohibit the use of such chemicals.
But that will nver happen. Everything has to look appetising and last longer, no matter that it tastes like plastic. If we stop buying all the products with dangerous chemical additives, there would be nothing left for us to eat.
.
The big Pharma Companies are making to much money and have a stronghold over Governments.
People today are to busy and always in a hurry to take the time and rad content lables.
The world is getting sicker and the rich are getting richer, but they too eat and drink those poisons daily, so all that wealth is not going to make them live longer.

Sorry, that list's last update was 2011 and additive 216 is not listed as one
to avoid.
