What was your first world problem today?

I had one in Coles.

The deli server asked who was first (because they NEVER use the **bleep**ING ticket system, am I right?) and I indicated truthfully that the (well-fed) woman to my left  was first.

Stupid me.

Well-fed woman had to taste everything before she asked for it all to be specially sliced for her.  Already sliced turkey breast or ham wasn't good enough for her, no siree! She neeeded THICK slices of everything.

Deli server: "Is this thick enough madam?"

Well-fed woman: "Hmm let me see....."

Oh, and then she insisted that she only have 400 grams and ONLY 400 grams of all the stuff she had tatsed and asked to be specially sliced just for her.  I think she had her lunch at the deli counter...

ARGH!!!

OMG Buzz.  Funniest post I've read in ages biggrin2.gif

My first world problem?  The lamb cutlets were an odd number and someone will have to have one less.

There was no synopsis available for a show I had programmed to be recorded.  It showed it  required 8% HD which was clearly not the case, however, since currently I only have 28% of HD available, this was obviously of concern to me.

Refrigerated airconditioners are only effective when the outside temp is 40 degrees or below.

Today it was 45 degrees.

well none today as i didnt leave the house lol and so many people were probarly grateful for that lol

but i know how u feel about the deli and them not using the tickets

but u also get the staff their are to busy chatting and u are standing there waiting

and im one of those that ask for exactly 12 slices of short cut bacon as i need the exact amount for a recipe

i only buy it for this when i make it

i get home and find ive only 10 or 11 cause they cant count

even a young kid can count to 20

but someone at woolies deli between the ages of 20 and 50 cant count to 12

and it been 3 times,3 different staff members.now i say to them please count them out to me

but i can be a tad cranky at times but i say if im paying for it i want what i ask for LOL

thats me on a bad day LOL.im a tad better on my good days but just a tad LOL
