Sadly that happens at times Nova .... what breed of dogs do you have?
I have an older pure bred GSD here, rescued him from a pound, he's from a very well know Sydney GSD breeder, phoned her to tell her about him, also that he has HD, she abruptly told me he couldn't be one of hers', cause she doesnt breed dogs with HD ..... Hmm well he has her breeder tattoo in his ear ...... wonder how it got there ? lol

Sorry, I rather not say. I am also well known ๐
Guess I am lucky that I always had people waiting for pups even before I started to think about having next litter. When you have ongoing communication with people over months and sometimes years, it is easy to sort out the ones that you do not want your dogs to go to.

Things like that should be reported to the governing body, but sadly there is nothing they do, most of th time. The Queensland one is the only one that I know of that does punish breeders who do not do the right thing.
