I must have missed that last pic where you had dinner, Kopes, sorry
Soooo, St Martin was the patron of the poor, and you have duck?
Goose and wine in Poland.
The rest of the menu sounds yum though
Nothing exciting on the menu here tonight. 7.15pm and I still haven't decided!

Tonight we had a pre christmas dinner ... slow cooker chicken, steamed vegies, gravy, fresh salad, followed by a most splendid Lions christmas pudding (that I spiked with rum) with home made custard, home made icecream and of course, just a tiny little bit of genuine maple syrup.
We have Canadian friends flying home tomorrow - so it seemed like the thing to do, complete with party hats and balloons!

stawks - Traditionally it was in part celebrating the end of harvest and the slaughter was fattened up.
Originally beef and in many European countries, goose which later became substituted in some to duck.
It was, I believe St Martins burial.
Tas - Yum, my kind of dinner.
Richo - Lol. No dead horse on the cheese ?
