Where Were You Born

When i was at a meeting we were asked where we were born.

When asked I replied "Murrumbeena"  the Man said I have never heard of it where is it  I replied in Melbourne which is in Victoria. He then said so you were born in Melbourne I replied NO my Birth certificate states I was born in Murrumbeena.

Where were you born. ??

At home in Czernowitz, Roumania a very long time ago.

Nobody can read my Birth Certificate, only that my name is spelt with a c and not a k.

BC, that would be Sacred Heart Hospital, now John Fawkner Private Hospital

I think maybe that's where soul may have been born too.   Can't think of any

hospitals in East Brunswick but Moreland is on the border.

blue, my nan and pop lived in Glenmorgan Street, wonder if there house is still there.

When I lived with them for a short time, I went to a primary school nearby that was red brick and had bitumen/concrete area to play on......was very different to my usual school at Tecoma.

I remember they had hot lunches, tomatoe soup and toast lol

In a very small private hospital on the main road in Herston at 4.08 pm in the middle of winter.  It is still there, a normal sized house, used as a rooming house, where down-on-their-luck people have to live.
