Why are Atheists so militant, strident and intolerant of people with religious beliefs?

You just need to look at Pol Pot, Stalin and Mao ZeDong.

How do they know there's no God? It's just a belief system.

Who and what God may be is beyond human perception.  The Bible says that man is made inn God's image so a clue is there. Evidence supports the statement that the God of Abraham is he true God.

Some time I read an article by a scientist who was a strong believer in evolution. He gave an account of how he became a Christian and how he knew fhat God existed. I wish I had saved the article.

There is no clue. The Bible wasn't written by god, but by many men.

The only 'concrete evidence' of god is the 10 don'ts.

Unfortunately the sandstone they were etched on seems to have turned to sand. If they were etched on a more durable material, they would still be available to be read.

And what evidence is there that there are any gods, and why sans that evidence would the Abrahamic one be the only? I really look forward to you producing said evidence, but as I'm unlikely to be around by the time (many centuries) you find it, I suspect you will disappoint, yet again.

Why don't you produce some evidence that God doesn't exist? Come on. What if you're wrong? Why do you hate God so much?

All Gods, or just your particular God?

What if you're wrong?
Then when I die I wil discover my mistake -  you, on the other hand,  will die in blissful ignorance.

Why do you hate God so much?

How can you hate something that doesn't exist? It would be like hating The Hogfather or Wizard Of Oz.

I understand Atheists to be anti-religious.

So someone whom may not believe in a god is not an atheist, only someone whom is against the belief of gods and religions.

Sometimes bob I think you over simplify complex points or perhaps you are simple minded, black and white ?

Most atheists have no problem with others choosing to believe in whatever they belive in. They simply don't want to be harrassed and harangued for their lack of belief. And when you push them and get rude about YOUR(general you) religion being the one and only, and how they NEED to believe or go to Hell, They tend to respond in kind.

The militants are few and far between, and they are usually the Trump types that want believers to make THEM their "God". Hence Bob's examples. Normal run of the mill atheists DON'T fit your desciption, sorry.

Prove it. Show me a picture, link me to an audio interview, introduce me to anyone who has been judged. If you can't, YOU are bearing false witness.*And it's bear, not bare*

Show us this evidence. The Bible is a book written by men, and rewritten many times, and still not a lick of proof in it. And I say this as a woman who follows the teachings of Christ. They make sense as a way of being a good person. Nothing else.

And was originally( and in some countries/religions, still is)  a pagan celebration of the goddess Ostara/Eostre/Ishtar, etc.. The Catholic church commandeered it, along with "Christmas" as a way to bring/force pagans to become Christians.
