Why are we blaming Hockey and Abott?

Obviously the money has got to come from somewhere. Where do you want to take it from???

Australia will never return to full employment for every one... that is due to micro economic reforms (1980's?).

Re: Why are we blaming Hockey and Abott?

I got one when I was a single parent. I worked but even so I needed it to get my car fixed so that I could get to work and didn't have enough cash for a replacement gearbox. If I didn't borrow... I couldn't have gotten to work or my kids to school.Borrowing on the credit card helped then and paid off in the long run.

I'm not hearing any solutions just whinging.  Abott simply has to say the situation he came into is a lot worst than he thought and he has no choice but to break his promise.

That's rubbish though. He has increased the debt since he came in.

They paid a bunch of cronies outrageous amounts of money to write what they wanted them to write and call it an audit report.

Re: Why are we blaming Hockey and Abott?

Why Govt debt is not always a bad thing ( not to be confused or compared with Ms Citizen racking up a debt on her credit card by spending too much on new dresses)

When governments spend more in the economy than they take out of it in tax collections - that is, run a deficit - they're contributing to the net demand for the production of goods and services that keeps the economy growing and increasing employment opportunities. Which, when private demand is weak, is a good thing.

This world has had so many good things eventuate because there were open minds.

It's a  dam shame that here, it's going backwards.

There are jobs out there, the problem is that most do not want to do them.
