Obviously the money has got to come from somewhere. Where do you want to take it from???

Donna. you mention a positive for selling on eBay but forget the newly introduced 9.9% fee on postage costs - that is a killer.

No they don't, they become countries who can't provide for the needy (pensioners, unemployed, etc)
And Australia is not in that position, nor likely to be and yet we have a government that wants to treat the elderly and disabled as if they are a financial burden and are not welcome to enjoy any quality of life any longer.

Donna is it a coincidence that the area you live in offers a well known beach and good weather that attracts the young unemployed?

Abbott before the election, travelled to an area south of where I live, which has an even higher unemployment rate than here. He was whisked in and gave a speech to invited LNP members only and was whisked out again.
No wonder he doesn't understand what is going on in the real world, especially in regional areas.

How long did you keep that up for Bob?
How much has the price of food gone up since 'a few years' ago.
Did you go around to a parents house and eat any meals there?
Just 1 week. I ate pretty healthy for that week and no starving at all.
I kept a diary. Now it's probably $30 equivalent I'm guessing.
Only counted once going to mum and dads.

put your mouth where your money is MML&J, I ask you, as a mother of a 3rd year 21 yr old uni student male :
How much money do you think it costs/week for a healthy food budget for a growing young, healthy male say of 21 years of age?
No alcohol, no smokes, no drugs, no takeaways, no car, no outings like movies etc.
Come on......how much.

I know I know I know BUT lots of people have things sitting around they could sell, my son is putting himself through uni and doing quite well selling stuff. Postage should not be a deterrent, everyone has to pay and is in the same boat.
It is a very different world to what it was when I was a teenager, it was so easy to get work.

I live in a regional area. Heaps of jobs for the young even though winter's coming.
