Why do women go for bad boys and then act surprised when they're

treated like **bleep**? I'm talking about those who have a know history of violence and abuse and cheating yet these women voluntarily choose them.

Discuss.

Why would you ask? Or need to? You seem to know every member of the group, so you already know the answer.

Icyfroth, I'll have to confess to pecking and scratching, just a little... in terms of having to tie my hands behind my back and gag myself to prevent myself from red-pencilling language-based sometimes.

I do try to stop myself. I tell myself repeatedly that language is not static, and that I love coining new words and expressions, and that the meanings of words and their spelling change through time. I also tell myself that I'll end up being one of those persnickety horn-rimmed old biddies chasing after youngsters in the streets, shrieking, "It's not COULD OF, it is not COULD OF; now get back here and let me whip you, m'lad!"

There's a difference between correcting spelling and grammatical errors, and picking out typos where the intended meaning is quite obvious, just to score points and ridicule the poster, Countess.

Kudos is a singular noun.

It is not a plural, nor is it a verb. So kudoer is as erroneous as kudo. Neither is a word.

Reposting an entire novel to allegedly correct typos smacks of attention seeking.

Another off-topic contribution, smacking of attention-seeking.
