I heard Tony Windsor this morning talking about the idea of a referendum on gay marriage.

1. The poll is fixed so you can only vote for or against, and I couldn't care a rat's backside about it.

So, if you don't care why vote at all?  Anyway that's how referendum work YES or NO.

2. Because I'm totally against the idea of spend huge dollars on waste of time referendums instead of the same amount of dollars on fixing up a few far more important things like a few hip operations for those in need or whatever.

I agree, it shouldn't need an expensive referendum.  It should just be legislated and fixed.

3. This topic has been done to death for way too many years now and 'm sick of hearing abuot it.

Yeah, they probably said that about slavery as well (or any other human rights issue you want to substitute)

4. If the government can't make a firm and binding decision to such a stupidly minor issue it shouldn't be in government at all.

I can't see that it is a stupid minor issue to people who are directly affected, for example vampire teddy.

5. Because it was pretty obvious that there are a couple of so board posters around here that are waiting with baited breathe to tear someone to pieces for saying they're against, so I figured I'd give them a bit of a highlight to their sad existences by opening things up for them.

Tony windsor/oakshot and the greens are just a bunch of communists-these communists want to destroy families and the concept of family and this sort of thing is one step to achieving their outcomes as well as the destruction of morality.

The greens hate families and the concept of family-destroy the institution of marriage and you are on the way to destroying families and the concept of family-they want a communist utopia and they will achieve this under a false banner of 'Human rights'

In my opinion this sort of thing is one degree away from the legalisation of pedophilia.

I'm not religious at all but check out the thinking catholic strategic center for some excellent viewpoints on this whole minority issue.

The greens will push these sort of relationships as environmentally friendly(no natural reproduction-no population increase)

That's yet another reason for why these daft polls are worhless here.
