I was just reading Donnas thread which brought up some of my favourite words. Like nong. Nong is probably the best - it has just the right amount of put-down and there is no come back.

How come no one uses Moron I use that a lot I know a lot of idiots.

Twit is another I use a lot.

I guess moron is akin to calling someone a retard. Both terms were once medical terms and neither are socially (or medically) acceptable anymore.

If I'm particularly miffed at someone I may call them a **bleep**, not to their face though. I can't think of a time I have called anyone a name face to face, except hubby, but that doesn't count.
