there used to be a competition on UK radio, where they set a problem and then people dialled in with the answer - anyone who got it right won a big$ prize. ALL the time I was watching / listening I didn't see anyone win it? It may be still on ? It went something like this:
ADD ALL THE NUMBERS
TWELVE TIMES TWO
PLUS SIXTEEN
MINUS SEVEN
At the end of the show they gave out the answer - but I won't tell you yet
did anyone have a go? Can anyone solve it?

Ok, I can't wait any longer it's past my bedtime.
My other guess is there are no numbers, only letters, so zero.
Goodnight. ๐

If the competition was on the radio, verbal. It would be numbers, not written words.

no, it was definitely text - I think it may have even been on UK TV - and from memory it was on their website too. The way I have it saved is under 'Adepuzzle' so does anyone remember a member named 'Ade'? It was several years ago - it may have even been another site that I visited?
The answer by the way is a very high one - far above what anyone has said so far.
