Dear Mods. Is it possible to create a political discussion board similar to the Art and Crafts or the Fun and Games Board?
That way the politickers could argue politics all day long if they wished without disrupting the flow of general discussion topics on Community Spirit.
Thanks.
And is there any chance the hover feature will be coming back?

would go onto another board to post on a thread about Campbell Newman ?
I beg your pardon? Please explain
There are threads around at the moment which could be considered Political , including meeting someone interesting today. You and others, including myself have posted on that .I'm interested to know if you and/or others feel that that thread should/shouldn't be on CS ?
and if you and/or others would/wouldn't go and post on them elsewhere ..if they were moved ?
Do others also feel that threads such as members of a community protesting against fluoride,
anti/pro immunisation,raising/lowering drinking/driving ages, threads about how a political figure looks should be on another board (a Political board) ?
I agree with what Freaki said about politics coming into many things .

Now there's a challenge spots !
An abstract of Tony...Kevin...Julia...hmmm, Barnaby would be an interesting one.
Anyone want to give it a try?? never know, could win the Archibald lol
oh, and a big YES to the hover, at least that way it's a bit easier to avoid nong nong threads.

Sorry I couldn't get back earlier been flat out at work today, Wonderboy is off sick and I'm next port of call for his callers.
Why now, Iza?
Because the elections are over and CS is still being spammed with political threads. I understand there's a need to be politically aware, but not all of us want to argue discuss politics all day long.
Especially when you get sucked into a political thread without the hover feature .
I think that's why a seperate, dedicated politics board would be good for all concerned.
I mean the Word games got voted off CS because ppl were sick of them dominating the general discussion board.
As did the Music threads and the Chuckle Store threads.
The Collectors and Antiques, Books, Arts, Sellers, Answers, all have their own boards.
I think it's time for the Politics to have their own dedicated board as well. Anyone that wants to dabble in the politics of the day can visit.

These are general discussion topics for those who care about such issues
