not being to regular on here a question do the mods on here always delete a lot of posts and stifle debate with their "friendly reminders" post they make in many threads as i am seeing happen now?
seems so sterile doing that and it seems to stife banter and debate
so am i allowed to make a post like this or will i get into trouble?

Perhaps a matriarch with a background in the union movement can be seconded into forming a Posters Union United. Subscription could be made in kudos.
I have one or two in mind who would excel at it 🙂

Spontaneity is stifled. It can take me ages to compose a reply so as not to appear hostile interpersonal, off topic etc that by the time it is ready, the conversation has moved on so my post no longer has relevance or the thread gets locked while I am still writing.
You don't always have to call a spade a spade. You can call it a digging implement and everybody still knows what you mean.
most ppl anyway...

It was harmless though, an opportunity to respond politely. It also seems you can't ask questions of some posters.
I am left wondering why some are so special.

Third time today a thread was locked or the post was removed while writing when I wrote a response to the thread this is about.
It's no great loss that it was removed anyway seeing as it was just a sexist attack on the women who post here.
That's not banter, it's just hostility for the sake of having a dig at women.
seriously? there is so much 'man bashing' that goes on here that I would have thought turnabout is just fair play.

It might seem harmless but that sort of everyday sexism just adds to the nasty noise about women online.
