do you remember a time when it was a better place to live

I remember when news agents had a stand out the front

with Papers under a rock

You took a Paper and left the money on the stand

Now days they would steal the money,the papers and the stand

and throw the rock through the window as they were running away

Not to forget the two young girls abducted from Adelaide Oval - Kirste Gordon & Joanne Ratcliffe. 1973 and still unsolved. Very sad.

I knew a girl born in 1970s and they gave her name Gay; I always wondered why she would not change it to Gayle (or whatever - would), it would make introducing easier;  people used to get bit startled when she said:  "Hi, I am Gay"

The girl I knew would have preferred to be called by her second name. At the time, I don't think the rest of us school friends could see why she objected to Gaye so much.

We had a teacher (male) that all the boys  thought was gay. The teacher had this funny bit of curled hair on his forehead Anyway, that teacher married a widow with 3 children, after we all left school. So perhaps the boys were wrong!

Many gays try to lead a heterosexual life in their earlier years because of the stigma attached to being gay

It's later when they mature and realize they cannot be true to themselves and don't want to live a lie forever

there was a girl I worked with had a total sex change after being in a heterosexual marriage for over 10 years

and they had a child  as well   { she started life as a boy }

give me a case of 3 kids disappearing anywhere in the world.  I wonder how many aboriginal children/girls disappeared without trace, and without it hitting the headlines.
