You just don't get it do you? This is not about my supposed confusion. This is about the repeated one eyed bashing of Labor by you where you play down Liberal mismanagement and attack Labor with all you've got. Two seperate issues I think you will find. The problem with the Ruby Princess was that the passengers where allowed to enter the country without quarantine. Yes a major stuff up and it did lead to an initial outbreak of COVID which was later traced and quelled.
The "second wave" Victorian outbreak occurred due to international arrivals being quarantined in Melbourne hotel. It appears Dan Andrews oversaw the security arrangements in which he rejected an offer of police and army support, instead giving the work to a unionised private security company. This company then sub- contracted the job to private individuals through facebook and similar social media posts.( very professional ....
) The guards received virtually no training or PPE and it is alleged even had intimate relations with quarantining arrivals. Genomic testing has shown the Victorian outbreak can be traced back to this hotel incident rather than the Ruby Prioncess. It is during the Victorian second wave which Andrews is directly responsible for that the vast majority of Victorian deaths occurred..
