I am appauled this has happened. Apparently  he brought both on his private plane without declaring them and so avoiding quarantine. It looks like he will be allowed to  send them home rather than being destroyed but I really  think he should cop a  massive fine .I cannot  believe  that  he was  unaware that  we do not allow them 

I  hope they are healthy 

He has really lost my support on this although  apparently 2000 pepople have signed a change petition  to allow them to stay....IDIOTS

In Europe people can get a passport for their dogs. The dogs get a vet check, and the shots are up to date. The dogs are cleared to fly on their passport, to countries that allow those passports as proof of a healthy animal. 

I understand the rules are in place for a reason in Australia. I'm glad that they did not euthanize these two little dogs though.

They  came down the steps from the plane in a closed LV bag carried by a woman walking behing JD, according to news last night, and were not declared on the relevant form ... as good as smuggling ... if you didn't know it was wrong why wouldn't you just carry them out in plain view?
