Have been a 20 pack a day smoker
For nearly 40 years and stopped cold turkey
On Monday
So have made it 4 days without a smoke
Feel like I am going crazy
And don't want to go near a shop for a while
Until I feel safe to avoid the impulse to buy
A packet
Not easy that's for sure

Tell your customer, before they light up.
Ya never know, they may respect your decision and refrain

Is there any chance I could just have
One cig every Sunday?

No, then you're still a smoker.
I know you want to hit me just like I wanted to hit Allen Carr with his own book.

l actually didnt take the whole course, thats how good it worked.
I had Crazy dreams but I liked it...lol
Just a word of warning about Champix. I know it usually works really well and has helped a lot of people, but it can occasionally have serious side effects and you would need to be alert to that possibility, just in case. . A friend of mine took it and couldn't handle it at all - he spiralled down into a depression so severe he actually contemplated suicide. Once he came off the Champix he was fine again. (though, sadly, he is still smoking.)

it`s been 6 years since I stopped smoking..you really have to want to stop if you don`t you won`t succeed imo..the urge and wanting to smoke and not thinking you can ever stop is the nicotine "brainwashing" you..with the wonderful book "easyway to stop smoking"by Allen Carr my 40+ a day habit ceased and I have never had just the "one"for all times sake..I know that one will turn me into a smoker again and I will NEVER EVER give that B...d(nicotine)the pleasure!!
I do not mind people smoking around me although not keen on the smell but in all honesty it doesn`t tempt me to light up..you need to not change your routine at all..
I have health issues due to my smoking(but you think at the time you are invincable to illnesess)I have said before that book was the best read I have ever had
Good luck!!

My views on Champix .... any medication whatsoever can cause side effects ranging from mild to severe ....my own experience was that it caused nausea so it didn't work for me, but I know of many for whom it helped enormously. Also the nicotine chewing gum helped me a lot, not niorette but nicotinell in the fruit flavour. I wasn't brave enough to go cold turkey but admire those who can.

It actually does warn you of the possible suicide feelings, and of all the other side effects that could possibly - but not necessarily - happen in the little insert inside the box. My cravings of not wanting a cigarette kicked in within a month. No side effects experienced at all.
