Have been a 20 pack a day smoker
For nearly 40 years and stopped cold turkey
On Monday
So have made it 4 days without a smoke
Feel like I am going crazy
And don't want to go near a shop for a while
Until I feel safe to avoid the impulse to buy
A packet
Not easy that's for sure

PYes surprised any ones even heard of a Dodge tide
Apparently there is another place in the world where it happens
Really feel like smoking today
Yesterday was much better
Maybe tomorrow will be better than today

Keep it up Opmania. Some days are harder but as time goes on you will have less and less hard days and when the urge to smoke hits you it passes very quickly. Think ahead to one month. That's a milestone for you to enjoy.

Hang in there Opmania; and never mind about upsetting anyone here, while your hands are busy on the keyboard they can't be lighting cigarettes.
I just googled dodge tide. It seems it's a particulary falt neap tide -and the name (though not the event) is unique to South Australia
