I suspect he doesn't mean the bible God or he has never read the bible. I can see why Ian didn't come out earlier if his family is so religious.

What's to explain? Meaning that somewhere along the line they've had a first time homosexual experience and became habituated to it.

I don't agree with that, but if two women or two men were stranded longtime on a deserted island, eventually the soxual drive, which is second only to the need for food and water, would bring them together.

Someone once said to me that gay people should have sex with straight people because how could they know that they are not straight if they hadn't tried it. I asked her if she had had sex with a woman and she said that she hadn't so I asked her how does she know that she's not really a lesbian if she hasn't tried it. Her response was that she just "knew".

Such ill-informed ingorance is obviously STILL believed.

It would appear that there are STILL some who consider  gay people to be a diffferent species or some sort of abberation or something else equally as idiotic.
