Argue for or against.
GO
This is a good question the_bob_delusion and kudos to you for bringing this topic up.
Even though boxing is a sport that can be dangerous, I admit to quite liking boxing. Where it differs from UFC is that there are restrictions in boxing and less damage done. There are good rules. UFC IMO has pushed things to the limit as far as a sport can go without being a death sport.
I'm not for it. It has become too brutal and now there are a lot of back yard / car park matches going on around the world.
Au contraire. With UFC, the fight pretty much stops once someone gets a heavy knock or forced into submission. With boxing, the head continues to get pounded. You just have to pretend you're OK and still standing up, allowing the brain to take further punishment.

Yes and no. With boxing blows to the head are cushioned by the gloves. Yes, a punch can kill. Anyway, the ref steps in when then the losing boxer is getting over punched. In UFC it is similar but bare fists can crack facial bones more than a gloved fist. And I have seen a guy get 10 plus hits to the head before the ref steps in. Also with UFC, a spinning kick to the head can do much more damage than a punch.
Boxing is more contained and controlled. Skill, strength, agility, timing and speed are key factors. In UFC the same but with more brutally and damage is more severe IMO.

Now I am destined for re-runs of Sparticus, Caligular, Gladiator etc, just to regain some sense of humanity.
Were they legal aged?

My first husband looked like this but he had brown hair. He used to get in to punch-ups all the time because of his height: at six foot four he stood out and cowards thought he was an easy target. Fortunately he didn't hurt me but I wasn't averse to some rough play, that is until our first born came along. After giving birth, I couldn't pass a peanut without squealing.

Why were you trying to pass peanuts through your birth canal?

Wow that looks quite brutal. Well, they keep pushing the boundaries. What's next?

Hopefully they where still in the shell.
