"Women shouldn't be allowed to wear make up"

It promotes a superficial society of people judging others on appearance. Shouldn't everyone accept others as they are?

Go.

Absolutely love the pictures. Especially the hat in the first one. Must fossick around the OP shops to see if I can find one.

I admire people, especially older ones who have the fortitude to wear bold colours and crazy fashions. As long as it puts a smile on their face and a spring in their step.

I'm with lionrose when seeing happiness.

They look happy.

And whether they are wearing clothes that look like costumes or lots of makeup, lots of jewellery etc that I might never wear or want to wear, they look empowered and happy.

That makes me happy to see them too.

Does anyone watch Baggage Battle on Wednesday night?

I love the couple, Laurence and Sally Martin. Both wear the most outrageous outfits and have huge smiles on their faces. I would love to be so free and uncaring about what other people think.

That old saying; "What will the neighbours say?" is deep ingrained in my mind. Perhaps one day I loose this handicap and be as free as those two.

most balding men would look better either cropping their hair very short, or shaving it off.

(Prince W Im talking to you!

Im sorry, but toupes dont fool anyone..

If I go bald I'll keep it short. In boot camp the others said my head looked like a cueball...so that's out, lol.

Do toupes fool people? How would you know.... if you were fooled?

We all have the freedom to wear make up, who could object, should we tell men to stop shaving, wear after shave and a deodorant.

Strange controlling behaviour, to tell a women she should not wear make up.

You dont have to look you know and go tut tut, like some controlling religious sect 🙂

Wasn't the point of OP. Why encourage an already superficial narcisistic society by focusing on appearance? Why should we teach our girls about make up when we should be encouraging them to be themselves and accept themselves for who they are.

Bob that is so silly

Make up does not change your personality.

You are who you are with or with our make up.

Because wearing it can be fun.

Because wearing it can be self expression.

Because wearing it can be what you want to do

and many other reasons, Im sure...

You just beat me to it Rose.  I love makeup , always have, though am discreet with the way I use it.  Usually some lippy and a bit of blush,  or more if I'm  dressing up., and of course perfume.       People who go on about being natural or 'pretending '  should not wear clothes, or use deodorant, or even shower with good soap for that matter.

I like to make the most of myself and love glamour and fashion, though these days with my lifestyle don't bother with it so much but enjoy seeing it in others.

I am no less or more of a person by doing these things and simply enjoy it. and find it fun.

I too love to see older people growing old disgracefully,  both men and women,   bring it on.
