Morrison has consistently attempted to enter Shorten's space during the debates, talked down to him and acted as if he believes he is superior. Shorten has been evasive in his comments, especially about funding and the economy, and has looked awkward at times.
Recent public opinion suggests many people think Morrison is arrogant and Shorten is untrustworthy. Their behaviour during the debates suggests there may be something to these views IMO. One thing constantly on my mind is that neither have any obligation whatsoever to keep the promises they are making. As far as I am concerned it is all theatre and rhetoric.
In other words, Bill can't handle the pressure...
