The vaccine for covid , seems now being mandated for those currently employed
Seems like a violation of the existing conditions of employment for many , particularly whereby there is no mandate for influenza vaccine requirement
Of course a harmless vaccine proven to mitigate against deadly covid-19 is desirable however some may object for whatever reason - and as are currently employed , one wonders the moral efficacy of coerced inoculation, as is clearly a workplace agreement item
There is talk of dismissing currently employed workers for non-compliance
This to me would violate existing workplace agreements and a violation - fully paid leave would be the only ethical way of excluding current employees ( unless all are retrenched then re-employed under covid safe clauses )
If there was no alternate to vaccination a strong case could be argued
But there are alternatives - periodic pcr tests, daily check-in fast antigen tests , 1 minute on the treadmill
The vaccines are released under emergency use meaning are experimental , so clearly fall under international law regarding strictly no forcing of experimental treatments
All that i am saying is that while inoculation is the most convenient , controllable and cost effective procedure , there should be an alternate process that meets workplace requirements

the claim that I have bolded is not as clear cut as presented on this and several other posts on these boards. There is a story on ABC news website that casts serious doubt on this claim.
I could selectively quote from the story, but probably better that members read the story for themselves.

@4chan
probably not a good idea to repeat the part of your post that I have made bold. There is doubt surrounding how Melbourne was reported to be the city with the longest lockdown in the world. Seems that in making the claim Melbourne wasn’t compared to too many cities . . . 7 actually.
If one part of a post can be shown to not be true then it casts doubts on the whole of the post. When a poster repeats a claim that has been shown to not be true then it casts doubt on the poster’s credibility and motivation.

"Imaginary" and "astral" were words that sprang to my mind.

I feel a bit peeved. After all of that, we Melbournians still don’t have the trophy…?
We have to jest, to keep ourselves sane.

when i wondered about alternate workplace requirements to covid-lite vaccines to minimize covid-19 spreading in the high value work place , i meant like rapid antigen test prior to start of work ....... however all employees would have to be tested as many of the vaccinated will now not manifest obvious symptoms ( unless I suppose physically stressed by way of a brisk cardio exercise like a run on the tread mill )
While we are dealing with covid-19 , why not use the same manner of mitigation to reduce influenza influenced untimely deaths and hospital time and workplace lost labour hours
( Once the floodgates for northern hemisphere visitors is reopened - seems currently is not significantly present in high enough viral loadings to cause serious harm last 18 months ....)
A rapid antigen test for influenza would be useful - and more so for overseas arrivals ......

The reason for my calling this presentation of Stein's hypothesis as "imaginary" and "astral" is because that is the only way that someone would come up with such a thing.

I am puzzled by your use of the word "astral". Are you suggesting that the authors of that study are astrologers?

Well, that's a good question. Perhaps Rachel Stein consulted her horoscope chart to give some body to her theory about the deaths of the Amish in the month of November.
When I said "astral", I was actually wondering if she met someone on the Astral plane and was led to believe that the info presented to her was valid. Of course like her presentation, "astral" is just a possibility. So, as I said previously, I'm not saying that she was commissioned to create a conclusion, but somehow she has created one. Now, this theoretical conclusion does by default suit an agenda. Coincidence? Possibly But useful to those who want to make a point nonetheless.

Open letter to TGA from Craig Kelly
Craig Kelly has data that shows an unusual increase of deaths in young boys since they started the vaccine rollout in the UK.
He is asking John Skerritt to immediately halt the vaccine rollout in teenagers until this is investigated properly. He says it is his duty of care to do so.
Craig sent this video to every Federal MP in Australia.

Since it is known now that "jabbed" people can transmit the virus and with the 0.5%, 1% or 2% (yeah it changes I know) of people that succumb to the virus, and the resilience of the young people, there is no justification in jabbing young people. Craig Kelly is making more and more sense.
