I helped a friend of mine for a few days  who owns a high end clothes boutique and I've never worked so hard in my life. The deliveries, the unpacking, the entering invoice data into the computer, that price tagging, the security tagging then the merchandising into the shop then the cleaning of the shop, the tidying of all items in the shop and then standing on your feet to serve and then hanging all the clothes back up, the reconciliation of sales computer and eftpost at the end of the day.

Not to mention the complete rudeness of the public.

I have never looked at a shop assistant the same way again, they work like dogs and I always return the clothes to where I got them.

They've got their arch, all 9 or so feet of it, and if they're not happy with it then I'll have to build them something else.

Don't worry, the suggestions for further improvements have already started to flood in...

This bridge could be wider, and we really could use a bridge over there, and maybe that one could be wider, too, and you know what would work really well is if we had...

I'm trying to imagine how to spread maple syrup onto sponge cake.

That's got to be worse than jam, doesn't it?

But then I think - A yule log leaking maple syrup, that could catch on.

It might not prove easy in the post cake eating finger wiping department, but I can see the gannets circling...

Is that what you have spent your day on - trying to spread Maple Syrup.

Geez Ecar we all know it would just disappear into the sponge.

You have to get yourself back on track - now it is difficult now we cannot load pics.
