This is a thread with no particular
Topic so no one can be off topic 🙂
So if anyone out there has something
To say about anything you like now
Is your chance
Keep it clean
And be nice
See how long that lasts
Can we keep politics and religion out

The mystery box was sitting on the loading dock and no one was sure where it had come from.
Nobody wanted to touch it because, on the sides, it had "Danger - Do Not Touch" printed in bold letters.
Somebody went and got the supervisor, who turned a little pale, when they saw the box.
They went off to get the boss.
The boss came down and had a look, then went back to his office, leaving strict instructions that nobody was to touch the box.
Not long after, a police car arrived, followed by a plain looking van.
A man in a big green bomb suit got out of the van, and approached the box.
Using a box cutter he neatly and carefully slit the top of the box.
He folded the flaps up, then folded the other flaps up and reached into the box.
The assembled crowd drew a breath of anticipation...
He brought out a sheet of A4 paper, and held it up, studying it, then held it out and gestured to the boss.
The boss came over, took the paper, and said...
"Safety Signs, 25, Marked - Danger Do Not Touch. For delivery on Tuesday, No signature required".

Usually, when I go out the back the best I can expect is to be be greeted by an upside down bird head, and a beady eye peering at me through the hole in the roof.
Sometimes I get an "Ah!".
This afternoon the old bird with the broken foot outdid everyone - he was sitting on the pergola bridge, and when he saw me I got a two tone "Ah-Ah!, high praise, indeed, ha ha.
He doesn't mind foraging around in the leftover/pushed to one side seed husks, but he loves bread, ha ha.
Because he's got to stand on one foot, and his other foot is as good as useless, he can't hold pieces of bread.
But he can eat "bite size", literally, pieces, preferably torn off a slice.
For some reason, cutting the bread makes it hard, or harder, so yes, small, soft pieces are most welcome.
It's no trouble to go to, to make things a little easier for him.
We both know that in many ways the Winter ahead will be cruel, so it is good to find some balance, ha ha.

It looks like rain, today...
I know this because the weather man predicted it, a couple of days ago.
I also know there's rain on the way because the cockatoos have yelled about nothing else, all morning, ha ha.
Sure enough, as predicted, it rained.
And so the cockatoos yelled about the fact that it was raining, ha ha.
And now that it's stopped raining, they've gone quiet.
Well, I suppose they've got nothing to yell about, now, ha ha.
