I'm going to assume that you're referring to the wine advent calender... *Wink*, ha ha.

Re: the nothing ,anything ,everything thread

There's a visitor...

A two to three-ish year old, hang on, why don't I just say Medium sized girl possum? ha ha.

She got up and with a little coaxing went and had some breakfast...

That went well for a minute or two before something spooked her, and she showed her general knowledge of the bridge system by disappearing into the garden at speed...

At least I know she's been here, before, ha ha.

She was off out there in the darkness, somewhere, when something started making scrabbling noises, in the house that she'd only recently emerged from...

What could it be...?

Well, reasonably, another possum would be a good guess... ha ha.

And blow me down, I was right...

A little, probably not quite six month old, with that skinny "kitten" tail (which is a dead giveaway that it's still young, well, young-ish. Zoo's about seven months old and has a bushy "grown up" tail... but I digress, ha ha) possum, who emerged from the doorway, looked at me and said "Have you seen my Mum?".

It's at that "mostly independent" stage - it gets around on it's own, quite happily, but it still needs it's Mum, ha ha.

There you go...two visitors for the price of one, ha ha.

And, because they've been here before, and they know "the rules" - Who to avoid and when to avoid them... they managed to get around quite well.

Well, they managed to have some breakfast, together, on the big table, and it didn't sound like anyone got chased, so yes, I'll say they had alright time, ha ha.

And I have a very slight suspicion based solely on the one squeak that I heard, earlier, that they might be here again, today...

I shall see, this evening... ha ha.

They're here, no doubt about that... ha ha.

Mother visitor came over seeking breakfast, so Zoo decided to cut breakfast short, and headed for the roof - "I don't  want to play with this stranger..."....

So Mother visitor followed her...

There was no sound of drumming footsteps, or blood curdling shrieks, so I can only guess that Zoo made herself sufficiently scarce as to be of no interest.

With them out of sight, I turned my attention to the little visitor...

Well, actually, I turned the torch on and shone it on the Toffee house, where I assumed they'd spent the day...

Then onto the surrounding bridges...

Hmmm... No little visitor...

I turned and there's somebody sitting slap-dab in the middle of breakfast - "I'm having breakfast...", ha ha.

So yes, they're all accounted for, one way or another, ha ha.

Re: the nothing ,anything ,everything thread

While it's still daylight, slide the plate into the doorway, far enough back that she can eat, but the cockatoos aren't likely to kick up a fuss if they see her.

Good plan...

Once she's finished eating, and retreated into the house, don't, and I'll repeat that - Don't assume that it's okay to reach in and take the plate, and whatever's left on it...

For the sake of repetition, Don't... ha ha.

She barks, like a Very big dog, and grunts, they they were softer, and more for emphasis... ha ha.

My plate... My food... and when I go out for the night, Then you can tidy up...

Once upon a time, there was a little girl who liked her breakfast, and she didn't hold back if she thought she was going to be short changed... ha ha.
