This is a thread with no particular
Topic so no one can be off topic ๐
So if anyone out there has something
To say about anything you like now
Is your chance
Keep it clean
And be nice
See how long that lasts
Can we keep politics and religion out

The old man bird that turned up late last night, and stayed, turned up this evening...
"Right on schedule", if you count being ten minutes early as right on schedule... ha ha.
"I'm here now, you have to feed me...".
I tried explaining to him that he was early, and I still had things to do...
I probably would have had greater success talking to a brick wall... ha ha.
We managed a compromise - he got something to eat, and I got to finish the chores... ha ha.
Around "bedtime" he headed off, the end of a another perfect day... ha ha.
So yes, I've got a slightly dented bird out there... somewhere...
I might have to have to search around a bit for him, ha ha.
He figured that staying the night was the best idea, for him, so he's staying the night, ha ha.
At least he's somewhere he feels safe (His garden...), ha ha.
Poor old Babs, coming in in the first light, must've had a bit of a surprise when she saw our unexpected guest...
Sttill, she's a big girl, I'm sure she's seen worse things than some scruffy old cockatoo asleep on a bridge, ha ha.

There was an ant in the birdbath, struggling, as they do...
I slipped the pocket knife blade in, under it and lifted it out...
Most bugs are happy to sit on the blade, enjoying being out of the water...
Not the ant... ha ha.
As soon as it had it's bearings it was off, across the handle and up my arm... ha ha.
You know, a simple Thank you would've sufficed, ha ha.
I was thinking about it a bit later...
I wouldn't do that for another person...
It's just not cricket to offer a blade to someone who's drowning... ha ha

Four-ish in the afternoon...
I hadn't thought it was that hot... (But what would I know, I'm not a possum...), ha ha.
I built those houses on a very simple plan - here is a sleeping chamber, it is dark...
Here is a corridor that leads to the sleeping chamber, and helps to keep it dark...
A really complex plan, ha ha.
What I didn't realise was that corridors are perfect for sprawling in, when it's hot.
An unintended bonus, ha ha.
Zoo's with us, again, as the photo shows, ha ha.
She very calmly waited for me while I went and got the camera, ha ha.
(I think she likes the attention, ha ha).
"Elbows in against your ribs, and breathe in... that'll reduce the camera shake...".
I'm getting photography advice from a possum... but it worked, so I won't complain, ha ha.

Zoo must be getting on for a year old, and that means boys, and that means babies...
She's not going to stop coming here, after all, she likes the place...
And Babs isn't going to stop chasing her away... ha ha.
It looks like we're in for a round of ever increasing girth possum avoiding other possum...
Or two ever increasing girth possums, because Babs can't be far off becoming a Mum, again, herself...
It will be a very strange sight to see... ha ha.
The Winter forecast...?
I'm guessing at oddly amusing, with occasional hair raising moments, ha ha.

Does it matter which flavour I use when I'm icing my ankle?
