I'd just sat down and who should arrive, striking fear into the hearts of the smaller birds?
Well, scaring Spot off, and causing consternation among the sparrows...
It's the sparrow hawk.... ha ha.
The bird who used to sit in the big tree, out the back, and shyly try not to get in anyone's way...
That was a younger and less confident bird... ha ha.
"This bridge that runs across from the Honey house to the pergola is very conveniently placed, so I shall sit on it... and look down into that bush where the sparrows are doing a really bad job of hiding...", ha ha.
He knows a good vantage point when he sees one... ha ha.
"I'm a proud bird of prey... of course we stand on high and view our domain...", ha ha.
He's a character, ha ha.
