This is a thread with no particular
Topic so no one can be off topic 🙂
So if anyone out there has something
To say about anything you like now
Is your chance
Keep it clean
And be nice
See how long that lasts
Can we keep politics and religion out

Sorry it's blurry...
The text reads - If you must walk through a flood, use a stick to check the firmness of the ground and depth of water ahead of you...

The trouble with clearing the gutters, as I see it, apart from the fact that the ground below isn't always even, which makes standing a ladder up lots of fun, is that it has to be done one arm's length at a time... then move the ladder along... how flat's the ground where you're going? ha ha.
Maybe I should invest in some pvc pipe, and give the otherwise neglected wet and dry vac a run... ha ha.
Somehow I don't see the "shortcut" method working quite as well - that's where I make some sort of shoulder sling for the vac, and take it with me when I climb up the ladder... that sounds a little too much like a recipe for disaster, to me... ha ha.
But won't it be noisy? What? I can't hear you over the noise of the vac... ha ha.

We won't hear you falling when you have that vac on.

BTW that is an excellent way to clean gutters from the ground. Vacuum.
I found that cutting the gutter-end of the round piping at an angle worked best.
