This is a thread with no particular
Topic so no one can be off topic ๐
So if anyone out there has something
To say about anything you like now
Is your chance
Keep it clean
And be nice
See how long that lasts
Can we keep politics and religion out

Seat covers should not be installed if you have side air bags) ... Why is that Stawks? Not that I have seat "covers" as such but I do have seat cushions that cover the back of and the actual seat
Tas if you cover the sides of your front seats, then the air bags will not be able to be deployed. They will be trapped by the seat cover.
I'm not sure what you mean by seat cushions that cover the back of and the actual seat.
But I'm sure you get the drift about the airbags not being able help you in an accident, if they are covered or restrained by anything. As long as the sides of the seat are not constricted, it's ok.
If you don't have side air bags in your seats, then there's no problem

Got it Stawks, thank you, makes absolute sense xxxx My seat cushions are all one piece and you just sit it on top of the seat like you might for an armchair, nothing tucked or tied around the seat and fairly loose just like the seat itself.
Going to make cookies today with a new cookie press, that should be an eye opener ..

"It's still the holidays...", said the girl galah... "That means people are still away and I have to take advantage of what I can find..."...
"I see...", I said... "So Natures vast bounty isn't enough to satisfy your needs..."...
"Well", she said, "It is.... But you're so wonderful...."... ha ha.
When in doubt, employ flattery... the classic girl galah tactic, ha ha...
And they know it works... ha ha.

This is a side airbag... Deployed, I assume, otherwise it would make it difficult to get in and out of the car, ha ha.
If you follow the line of the bag up the seat / seam, there's a little tag that says something like "Airbag"... how helpful... ha ha.
And this is perhaps a cautionary tale about the consequences of wearing too much makeup when driving... ha ha.

It's probably a good thing that the birds haven't worked out how to unscrew the lid on the plastic container with their favourite food in it... yet, ha ha.
They're still at the stage of hooking their lower beaks under the rim of the lid and trying to prise the lid off, ha ha.
As a result, on the top of the lid, there's a series of fine stick figure like scratches...
Mysterious bird writing, much like ancient Nordic runes?? ha ha...
Only time will tell, as I endeavour to decipher their scratchings, and although I could be completely wrong, and it might well turn out to be nothing but a random pattern of sorts, perhaps there is a hidden message...
"You could've shown us how to unscrew the lid, ages ago, and saved us a lot of trouble...", ha ha.

No, it's not ivory.. most likely the handle's cow bone...
Is it a practical item - a pocket knife carried and used every day...?
Or is it, because the handle's scrimshaw, a decorative item, doomed to sit on a shelf for eternity because it's too "good" to use...?
When do you say "It's Not going to sit with the "nice" china... this is something that I want to be able to see, every day, and not just through a pane of glass...
This is something that I want to touch, to hold, and not just when I'm dusting it...
Some things are, I think, made to be a part of life, to live, and be lived with, and not relegated to being a static display piece...
