This is a thread with no particular
Topic so no one can be off topic 🙂
So if anyone out there has something
To say about anything you like now
Is your chance
Keep it clean
And be nice
See how long that lasts
Can we keep politics and religion out
Of the conversation

There's a "new" old man bird, that turned up sometime in the last couple of weeks...
His "special trick" is jumping and landing on my wrist...
He's tried it a couple of times over the last two days, with varying degrees of success, ha ha.
He knows which part of the wrist to land on, but having landed, to date, he's not so sure of what to do next...
So off he flies, again...
In the meantime... I think that it's the small things that count... like giving me any indication, even the smallest of hints that he's going to launch himself at me... ha ha...
That'd be good, for a start, rather than finding myself with a full grown cockatoo hurtling towards me, with little or no notice given of it's intentions.... ha ha.
It's okay, we'll work on it until we get it right... He'll make sure of that... It's His party trick and he's not about to let it go to waste... ha ha.
At least he hasn't learnt to bite toes...
The toe biter bird bites, hard, and if I twitch my foot, or tell him "Don't!!", he runs away as if it's a big, fun game...
Then, as often as not, comes back to play another round... ha ha.
We've managed, with a fair bit of creative thinking on my part, ha ha, to change the game to "bite the protruding lip of the sole of the ugg boot rather than my toes..."... Well, it works most of the time, anyway, ha ha.

Poor old Pooh Bear, he always does look a little "spaced out" .....
Good morning! The days are roaring past, so much to do but getting it done thankfully.
Love the pictures thank you all, it's such a pleasure to come here and get a smile and read what's going on with the possums and the birds etc.
Strangely, Tasmania has already had a little snow on the highlands, perhaps that is a sign of a good winter to come with lots more?
