This is a thread with no particular
Topic so no one can be off topic ๐
So if anyone out there has something
To say about anything you like now
Is your chance
Keep it clean
And be nice
See how long that lasts
Can we keep politics and religion out
Of the conversation
Solved! Go to Solution.

As I found out this morning, it doesn't take me that long to get the old hand warmer up and running...
It's been sitting in a drawer for a while so I had to pour some fuel in and leave it sit while the fumes rose, so to speak...
And that seemed like a perfect opportunity to make a cup of tea... ha ha...
About the time I was ready to see if it'd spark into life, the tea was pretty much drinkable, ha ha...
I was out in the car earlier in the week and I changed gears and my shoulder made a pop sound, eerily reminiscent of a tennis ball hitting a brick wall...
I thought "That can't be good"... ha ha...
So far the only trouble it's giving me is when I try to draw curtains, or open the fridge...
Obviously there's a fairly simple solution - rest...
Leave the curtains, they'll be fine for a few days...
And as for the fridge? Well, I've never taken a fridge door off and moved the hinge pins from one side to the other, but it sounds like a fun thing to try... ha ha...
Of course, I might end up having to move the fridge because getting the door open in it's new position might be awkward...
I think this could lead to the fulfilment of one of my teenage dreams - putting the fridge in the loungeroom... ha ha...
Well it had to go somewhere... ha ha...
Yes, I could open the fridge door with my other hand, which can open the door with no difficulty, but that would be sensible, and would take all the fun out of the weekend.... ha ha...

Strewth... Because they won't let me use stronger language, here... That's quite an injury you have there.
I had a look at Dr Google and while that wasn't comprehensive, it did serve as an eye opener, or perhaps eye waterer would be a better way of putting it...
I'll say this much, apart from a roughly dozen or so select people, I wouldn't wish a frozen shoulder on anyone, ha ha...
I'll let you in on a secret... Sciatica's no fun, either...
The nerve runs down through the hip and into the leg, nice and close to the bladder...
I think it's worst when the nerve decides to torture me while I'm sitting in the car...
I'm stuck... There's nowhere for me to go... literally... ha ha.
Nobody told me that growing old was going to be quite the challenge that it's proving to be...
Still, it could be worse... I keep telling myself that, in the hope that it'll make the dents and scrapes I've accrued so far seem far less of an imposition than they are.
Sometimes I think that's all I have left, a wonky sense of humour and a willingness to believe my own lies... ha ha.
