This is a thread with no particular
Topic so no one can be off topic 🙂
So if anyone out there has something
To say about anything you like now
Is your chance
Keep it clean
And be nice
See how long that lasts
Can we keep politics and religion out
Of the conversation

Here's a thought...
That quote-bait definition of insanity - someone doing the same thing over and over again, and expecting a different result, breaks down so quickly... It's called persistance.

I've noticed over the last couple of days that he cockatoos aren't their usual laid back selves.
The slightest thing seems to have them flying away to the trees...
I couldn't work it out, at first...
The weather's good - there's no storms coming, and the local wandering cats don't upset them that much...
If they see a cat they tend to congregate in the trees and shriek abuse at it, ha ha...
But if it's not storms, or cats, then what?
The only other time they behave like this is when the jet fighters come down from Richmond, the RAAF base up by Sydney, for the fly past.
The birds don't like them...
You haven't lived til you've had a jet fighter, in flight, described to you by a cockatoo - you too would begin too believe that such things as Dragons exist, ha ha...
And then it occurred to me... It's balloon festival week...
Parts of the sky have been taken over by large, noisy "Things"... ha ha...
At least it's only for a week... I'm sure they'll cope... ha ha...

I seem to remember a couple of years ago there was a panic about getting the flu vaccine.
That led to delays...
Now it's loo paper....
I wonder what the next "Must have" product will be... ha ha...
On a brighter note, at 2-ish, this afternoon, the big Coles had loo paper in stock.
Eight big packs, cowering at the end of the shelf, waiting for the onslaught, ha ha...
It's a funny old World...
Mother possum appears in the doorway, closely followed by tiny little See...
She sees me and says, very proudly, "I'm not riding on Mum's back!"... ha ha.
Mother took a step forward and See was scrabbling to grab a hold of her...
Having got a decent grip on Mum, she looks at me, again, and says, very proudly, "I'm riding on Mum's back...!".
She's at that age, and like all children, once she's worked out that you're someone she can talk to, she doesn't have an off switch... ha ha...
One of the common sounds that the wattlebirds make sounds, to my ear, like "Krull...".
Which, as they assure me is not to be mistaken for Kraal", let alone "Laager" or "Dorp"...
Great... Now I'll have to brush up on my basic Afrikaans... ha ha..

Two wonderfully inspiring, clever, funny, brilliant videos posted by, may I say, two wonderfully inspiring, clever, funny, brilliant people.
Thank you both for brightening my day...

Whenever I use hand sanitiser I always make sure to use two squirts of it because one squirt (according to the label) only kills 99.9% of germs, and I want to be doubly sure... ha ha...
Does anyone else remember a couple of years ago when there was a panic / run on the annual flu shots?
This time round it's been loo paper...
An "astute investor" could make a small fortune if they could predict what the next "must have / hoard" item might be, and stock up on it ahead of time... just thinking... ha ha...

Keep thinking - it has to be something - without a ' shelf ' life.
