This is a thread with no particular
Topic so no one can be off topic ๐
So if anyone out there has something
To say about anything you like now
Is your chance
Keep it clean
And be nice
See how long that lasts
Can we keep politics and religion out

I thought a salmon pink galah was one for the books, but South Australia has outdone me - a black galah...
Whatever next? ha ha...

You know they like you when...
One of the old man birds decided that things were getting a little too lively down on the ground, where he was, so he sought shelter by sitting on my foot... ha ha... but he wasn't happy with that, so he took to climbing, beak and claws, up my tracky pants...
Thankfully, it's the pair with the good elastic in the waistband... ha ha...
He got to about my knee and started to flap his wings, stabilising himself...
I'd already bent over and was offering him my forearm as a better alternative, by then, ha ha...
So he clambered aboard, but of course, not happy with that, he proceeded to climb my sleeve...
Shoulders, it seems, are far preferable to forearms, ha ha...
Do anything interesting, today?
Me? No, not really... Stood with a melee of cockatoos at my feet while an old man bird used my pants as a climbing frame, and eventually ended up perched on my shoulder, making beak clicking noises at me...
And you? How was your day? ha ha....
It's not always so lively, here, but the good days are good days, ha ha...

just had a major catastophe, my fish tank split a seam right down one corner losing almost all the water in minutes.
i got to it and managed to hold the 2 sides together and stopped 99% of the leak
luckily i could reach the phone and called my brother who ran down to help
water everywhere, i had to drill a 25mm hole in the floor to drain it away!
disaster!
we managed to seal it up temporarily with putty, hopefully it will last till tomorrow
then fingers crossed the local pet supply has a 4 foot tank in stock!!
lucky i dont have carpet but floating floors dont like water much eather so i mopped and mopped and mopped then toweled dry as best i could. time will tell if its ruined the flooring.
it was like niagra falls, the water was spurting across the kitchen bench top then over the edge.
be better had it gone at 9am and not 8pm!
