This is a thread with no particular
Topic so no one can be off topic 🙂
So if anyone out there has something
To say about anything you like now
Is your chance
Keep it clean
And be nice
See how long that lasts
Can we keep politics and religion out
Of the conversation

Just in case Tas wants to practise her knitting, she can Yarn Bomb Tasmania.
Wouldn't mind a go myself. Knitting doesn't have to be good, just colourful

A week ago, the old man cockatoo would look at me suspiciously, and back away if I got too close.
That was a week ago, and a week is a long time for an ageing cockatoo, ha ha...
He's come a long way in a short time...
He hasn't worked out how to open the back door, yet, but he understands the importance of the door handle, and has made several unsuccessful attempts to get it to work for him... ha ha...
He likes bread. He will, if he thinks I'm not looking, eat bird seed with the rest of the birds, but if I'm around then it's "Bread! Bread!" , and I'd better make it multigrain, too. There's bread and then there's Bread, ha ha...
I'm not too worried about his diet, it's more a matter of making him happy, now.
He's old, he looks old, he's bright as a button, but I think, reasonably enough, he's not got more another couple of years in him, if that.
He is, like all the old man birds I've befriended over the years, a true character, ha ha...
He spied the tupperware box with the bread in it...
Having unsuccessfully tried to bite his way through the side of it, he decided that the best course of action was to clamber on top of it and sit down - This is mine, and I'm not getting off it... ha ha...
So he sat there looking for all the world like a certain famous monument, to be found not that far from Gundagai, ha ha...
He's one of three old men who come in, at the moment.
They're all happy to fend for themselves, find food, squabble with the younger birds, all you'd expect...
But the moment they see me it's "Oh, oh... The younger birds are picking on me,... Tell them off, tell them off..." and "I'm just a poor old hungry cockatoo and won't make it tomorrow if I don't have my special, favourite food..." ha ha....
They've got the measure of me... ha ha...
If that's not enough, there's a corella, they're a cousin of the cockatoos, and this one is possessed with a most perverse sense of humour...
He turns up and shouts "Cat!"... Three quarters of the birds make themselves scarce, leaving the corella sitting in the tree, feigning innocence - "Oh! I meant to say Hello, everyone... Oops! Well, if nobody wants that food...."... ha ha...
They're a cheeky lot, ha ha...

Remember Ooshies? Those little plastic toys - The Lion King themed ones, that you could collect from the supermarket (if you spent enough, ha ha)...
They're back!
This time round the theme is "Disney +"...
All I'm going to say is keep your eyes on Ebay - How much do you reckon the "Rare" one's will go for this time? ha ha...
I figure if it takes people's minds off the current crisis, then it can't be all bad, ha ha...

Another in a long line of "acrobat" toys, based on the "Monkey on a stick" toy...

The Koala...
No, the monkey in the video's not one of my creations, it's just a good example of how the toy works...
