Whoever finds fault in that image should get a life. 

She could be just walking past a random stranger because she was is in a rush to get to where she is going. He might be on a leisurely stroll.

My first thought was that he should've been on the outside but then if you look at their positions it's easy to see

that she's going past him,(he's moved to the left to give her space and she's moved to the extreme right to go

past him and that's why she's ahead of him).

If they were together they would be closer to each other as she wouldn't walk that close to the angled edge

in case she got distracted and slipped,
