Re: will someone please turn down the heat

Thanks to those for your understanding and suggestions. I know I'm stressing too much but I love my animals, all animals actually, and hate to think of them suffering.

Poor Adelaide! Stay cool and frosty.

I can't wait to bask in the air con bliss at work today. I really need to catch up on sleep though. Do you think they'll understand if I curl up under the desk and have a snooze and wake up when this is all over?

I'm prepared ... leaving the fans on for the kitties, placing ice in their water bowls, frozen bottles of water under wet towels.

The wildlife outside have a big basin of water to drink and bath in.

Only 2 more days to go of this brutal heat. I'll be doing the happy dance when the cool change finally arrives! As will all of us. lol

Re: will someone please turn down the heat

How's everyone doing in S.A?  Keeping as cool as possible, I hope.

Melbourne has reached 42c and it's not the hottest part of the day yet.

After 3 days,  my evap cooler is struggling.  I have 28c inside.

But that is better than 42c.   It cooled down enough to, at least,

sleep last night

Stay safe and cool everybody

Re: will someone please turn down the heat

We don't have an outdoor thermometer so I go by what the BoM states.

I need to check for any casualties outdoors but I am not looking forward to going out into that heat.
