So hot again today.
And the pup keeps finding the most amazing things to chew. A big snail, a plastic ring thing, a twig (dunno if it's poisonous but not risking it) & son's socks which I've told him not to leave on the floor. Among many other things.

The flood news just gets worse. Some of the stories are gruesome.

friend of mine from brissie is stuck down our way, she was supposed to head home today but both the highways are cut by floods. my boss's kids (teenagers) were luck to fly out of brisbane today, he was stressed out that they wouldn't be able to get to the airport.

deb ....I told the 2IC today .... and she just looked at me in shock ... ask did anyone come in to help and I said no .... told her I needed someone to come in today as I still had 29 .... so she sent a girl from another room in .... but she was only on shift for another 30mins .... so not much help .... but the 2IC did come in and help out until the numbers dropped .... thankfully !
Im quite capable of managing that number of children .... but Im not supposed to ... and if anything went wrong I couldnt leave to get anyone and couldnt send anyone cos they are kids .... couldnt even go to the loo ...:O ..... hoping the boss who is back tomorrow gets her act together with the staff ratios ....
