NEFERTITI - “If my Nefertiti brooch had legs, she’d hope they looked as good as mine”, murmured Grace gleefully, taking up the silver brooch and pinning it to her lapel as the boys dashed around her like a miniature whirlwind, chafing each other’s tails.

ICY - Grace decided she might take a drive up to the country side and have a paddle in the small creek that was beside her friends place. However opening the door it was so icy outside she left her bathers home and headed off!

YODEL - Grace had Rufus and Bailey on theirs leads as she stopped beside the creek for a quick dog walk before she’d see her friends – always a good idea as it would deal with the immediate toilet issue - and gave a nice tuneful yodel as Bailey took to a tree to do his business and Rufus sniffed the other side of the tree before giving it his seal of approval; the merry sound of “Next to a creek was a lonely dog-herd,  layee odl, layee odl layee-oo!” rang out.

TRACK - Embarrassed, Grace called her friends Ramona and Chang – “Hello? Ramona, I don’t know how I did it, but we’re lost! Just on the track next to the creek near your place – shh, Bailey! I’m organising our rescue!” as Bailey barked and Rufus lay himself at her feet with a trusting expression in his eyes.

KISSED - Just under 2 hours Ramona & Chang arrived and Grace kissed them on the cheek, giving them both a big surprise. Of course the dogs wagged their tails so ever excited to see them too!

DAMP - At their home, Grace felt enormously relieved and settled the dogs with some water, and Ramona applied some aloe vera to a few scratches on Grace’s legs while Chang checked the washing on the washing line to make sure it wasn’t damp.

PEERING - It was a lovely warm day so Chang went and got the washing off the line to give Grace a rest. Ramona heard a noise and peering out the window she saw the most magnificent herd of cattle run past with Rufus & Bailey chasing them!!

GREEN - Those dogs were herding the cattle (or scattering them, possibly!) with sheer delight in every doggy limb, and the cattle didn’t seem to mind as they darted here and there over the lush green grass.
