DEMURE - There was a suspicious double-dog-shaped lump under her duvet; Grace grinned to herself and lifted the corner, to behold the dogs curled around each other on her bed, a demure expression of “Up to mischief? Not us!” expression on their gorgeous little faces.

CONSIDERED - Grace looked at the time, and calculated that she could squeeze in a visit to the gym; she considered bringing the dogs as she had got permission from the manager, but she remembered that even she’d tried it last week, the dogs had looked mournfully at her and tugged at their leads around one of the indoor poles the whole time.

DOGS - Although both the dogs looked at her with pleading eyes, Grace decided to leave them at home this time, so they wouldn't distract her from her workout.

YOUNG - At the skate park, Grace sat on a nearby bench and watched the young people trying out all sorts of tricks, sometimes succeeding, other times coming a cropper.
