Not wanting to rain on anyone's parade but Korner was a curly-haired guy of Jewish / Greek heritage. That photo was almost certainly taken in the Sixties at which time he was heading for age 40. Guy in the photo looks much younger.

Of course, it might be Alexis in a Brian Jones wig.  Or maybe the website where the photo was sourced got it wrong. There's a very strong connection between Korner and the Stones. Some might argue that without him the band wouldn't exist.

I do remember Alexis had a thick crop of curly hair,crosby,when I saw him in the mid-seventies.I wasn't sure to be honest who was in that photo.When lakelands clue was bluesman,I thought the guy looked English and played the blues so it could be Korner.The only thing I was sure of was,it wasn't John Mayall.

well all other photos beside that one depict alexis as a you guys say, so it is probably an error, odd that a history of the era should be incorrect but it does happen. yesterday on the ABC website there was an article on Tony Mokbels former partner selling hot kitchen appliances out of her cafe. the article said Mokbel was serving 30 years at present, but he is definitely dead.
