What's your favourite style of metal, band or songs?

I like the old metal bands: the 80's and 90's metal: Heavy Metal, Thrash Metal and Seattle Sound/ Grunge.

Don't like any version of Black betty, don't hate it either....not until I heard the Spiderbait version!

Interesting sound at the beginning, yep good riffs...but then they don't do anything with it, then the guy sings horrible. No change up or lead guitar jam and very repetitive.

I could take the spiderbait version, change the singer, and add a guitar break and come up with a great version.

I can take a bad voice if it's interesting enough or if the music kicks .... , then it becomes an acquired taste. Like the next band, hated the singer, liked the music...plus the change ups and lead guitar...after I while I like the singer too..

Well if they had used their usual singer it might have sounded worse, as the singer is female! Kram (who sang Black Betty) is the drummer who sings every now and then..
