My ebay payment name is not my legal name, what do I do?

I am trying to receive payment for an item and my legal name is my bank account name. However, I am known more widely by a nickname. Ebay will not let me put in my legal name but defaults to my nickname, how do I change this please?"?

Hi there, not sure if this will work, as have never had to do it.

In your ebay account, select personal information,  next to owner name & address select edit.  I think your drivers licence will also need to be edited and match the owner name.
